At Ashdown, we've always believed that great tone should stand the test of time. This Earth Day, we're proud to celebrate not just the sound we create, but the impact we leave behind.
Introducing the Ashdown Forest
We've been partnered with Trees for Life since 2026 to create our very own "Ashdown Forest" - a growing grove of trees in the Scottish Highlands that brings our global community together for something bigger than music:
PLANT A TREE IN THE "ASHDOWN FOREST"
This isn't just a symbolic gesture. Every tree planted contributes to the restoration of the Caledonian Forest - helping rebuilt native woodland, support biodiversity, and create a healthier planet for future generations. These groves transform open land into thriving habitats, protected for the long term.
Our grove is already growing, thanks to musicians, retailers, and players around the work - but it's just the beginning. You can add your own tree, leave you name (or band name), and become part of a living, breathing legacy.
Built to Last - Not to Landfill
Sustainability isn't just about planting trees. It's also about how we design and build our products.
Every Ashdown amplifier is created with longevity in mind.
That means:
- Repairable down to component level
- Built using serviceable, replaceable parts
- Designed to be maintained, not discarded
In a world where so much technology is treated as disposable, we take a different approach. If something can be repaired, it should be. If it can last longer, it must.
Because the most sustainable product is the one you don't have to replace.
A Community Effort
The "Ashdown Forest" is more than a project - it's a reflection of our community.
From touring artists to bedroom players, from retailers to technicians - everyone who's ever plugged into an Ashdown amp has the chance to contribute to something meaningful.
Plant a tree. Leave your mark. Be part of a forest that grows alongside the music.
Looking Forward
Earth Day is a reminder that small actions add up. Whether it's designing products that last decades or planing trees that will stand for generations, we're committed to doing our part - responsibly, sustainable, and together.
Because tone matter. But so does the world we play it in.
