So tonight we headed down to the O2 to see Biffy Clyro, for the first time without our brother and theirs James Johnston.
We want to send James all our love as he works through some things. We all go through things in life, whether that’s mental health, addiction, or simply what life throws at us. None of it is easy this whole living thing but one thing is true: it helps to stop, go back to the beginning, and recognise when someone needs help.

We’d spoken to James some time ago about creating some new cabs for this tour. With red being the colour of the new album, he asked if we could build a pair of red-coned 8×10s for the stage setup. After more than 20 years of using Ashdown, we were more than happy to help.

They were originally finished in clear oil, but the set designers had their own vision and painted them to match the incredible stage design for the tour. We have to say, they looked and sounded epic, powered by a pair of ABM-600 EVO IV heads.

We missed James tonight… but Naomi handled bass duties brilliantly, bringing her own character and energy to the role. Ben was rock solid, holding down the rhythm with power and precision. Simon was loud and proud, as ever. The band were on great form, and it was incredible to see yet another sold-out O2.

The audience were in the palm of their hands all night long.
One thing is for sure: Biffy f**king Clyro know how to put on a show.
Mon the Biff!
