Biffy Clyro out on Acoustic Tour

Following the release of their first acoustic album recorded at London's famous Roundhouse venue for MTV’s ‘Unplugged’ sessions, Biffy Clyro are touring across the UK and Europe for a limited number of acoustic performances.

Long term Ashdown user and Biffy bass player, James Johnston swapped out his BTA400/ABM 810 Cabinet rig for a smaller ABM-600 head and ABM-115 cab – appropriate for the on-stage monitoring at these more intimate acoustic gigs. Meanwhile Simon Neil will be using the all new Ashdown Acoustic 100 R combo for the tour… Once again representing an “all Ashdown” powered performance by Biffy Clyro – an honour and a privilege we never take for granted here at Ashdown. Thanks guys!

We went down to a pre-production rehearsal in London last week to catch up with our old friends from Biffy Clyro and we look forward to catching up with them at their last date in the UK (The Royal Albert Hall on Monday 24th September) before they cross the channel the next day for their European stint of the tour, starting in Paris.
