The Foo Fighters - Madison Square Garden, 16th July
Whilst on business in New York, Dan and Mark from Ashdown took some well-deserved time-out and hopped over to New York's iconic Madison Square Garden to see The Foo Fighters, currently out on the 'Concrete and Gold' Tour in the United States.
Just a couple of weeks ago, we also had the pleasure of spending some time with Nate and his long-standing bass tech (and our good friend) Geof Templeton prior to the Foo Fighters' sold out show at the London Stadium. After the show, we wrote a quick news story taking us back (and forth) in time to when Geof first got in touch with us at Ashdown to help Nate and Foo Fighters on the road. And the rest as they say, is history. Check out the post here…
From that day on, Geof has been our point of contact and the person at the very top of our Christmas card list. Getting back to the show; it was fantastic to see the mighty Foos in New York for an unforgettable evening on 'home turf'. We've had the pure pleasure of seeing the Foo Fighters many, many, MANY times over the years - from sold out arenas, to festival stages to small and intimate gigs - from London to New York - and it's an honour and a privilege that we never take for granted. We get to do some pretty cool sh*t here at Ashdown, but seeing the Foo Fighters play live still makes our arm hair stand up on end.
We wish Nate, Geof and the guys from The Foo Fighters all the best for the remainder of the tour.
