Biffy Clyro to Headline Reading & Leeds 2016

James Johnston and Ashdown On Stage with Biffy...

It has just been announced that Biffy Clyro will headline the Reading and Leeds Festival 2016.

Biffy will close the main stage at Leeds on Friday 26th August and in Reading on Sunday 28th August. This year will be the 10th Reading and Leeds for Biffy Clyro, they last headlined the festival back in 2013 with an energetic and pyrotechnic fueled show that went down in festival history as the “best festival set ever”, as said by Kerrang in 2013.

Reading and Leeds Festival will feature 5 headline sets over the three days with other bands including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foals, Disclosure and Fall Out Boy.

“We're baaaaack!” said Biffy of their appointment as Headliners. “We are honoured to be asked to close Reading and Leeds this summer. We had one of the best nights of our lives last time and we're going to do all we can to make it even bigger and better in 2016. You ain't seen nothing yet mother******s!!”.

History would suggest that we well and truly ‘ain’t seen nothing yet’. We cannot wait for this one.

As always, long standing Ashdown man and good friend, Biffy Clyro’s James Johnston will be armed with a tower of Ashdown bass amplification, which features two 8x10 cabs and a duo of CTM-300s… and maybe even more!
