Well, what can we say… We would have loved to have been on site for this year’s Reading & Leeds but covid restrictions as they are we decided to sit this one out but were able to offer our support in any which was possible to some of the great bands on site throughout the weekend.
This year’s Sunday headliners and long-time Ashdown users Biffy Clyro took to the stage on Sunday night to close the event playing an incredible set spanning their carrier from 2007’s Puzzle up to todays A Celebration of Endings. A monumental moment for the band not having the chance to tour the latest release, to be able to play their songs live again to a legendary audience must have meant the world to all involved as it did us.
James Johnston using his trusty ABM-600 head and custom White ABM-810 cabs sounded great James sent us a message after the set to say ‘I think I’ve just had the best tone ever at Reading and it’s your amazing amp that is doing all the heavy lifting! Just Di the f@*ker – Job done!’
Our NEW Saint bass also got an outing during the set, thanks to all involved!
UK residents can still watch the set on the BBC iPlayer
