Thanks for checking out my bio! My stage name is Xander Descartes. I’m a lifelong musician and content creator. It all started in 6th grade when I wanted to play Smells Like Teen Spirit for the talent show, but no one else played the bass-for that matter, neither did I, but I’ve always been willing to try something new. Soon after that I found out Nirvana’s drummer had his own band.

As time went out I started listening to bands like Black Sabbath and System of a Down. Fast forward to adulthood and having some spending money. What do all of these bass players have in common??? - Ashdown! So, I had to get 1 (more than 1, actually)! My gig rig consists of an OriginAL series head and I have a Shavo signature head in my home studio.
