Mit einem Gewicht von nur 2,1 kg (4,6 lbs) bietet es 300 Watt Leistung sowie erstklassige Qualität und Funktionen. Die Rootmaster EVO II-Reihe ist jetzt auch mit einem integrierten Kopfhörer-Vorverstärker ausgestattet, der lautloses Üben ermöglicht, wodurch diese konzerttauglichen Verstärker auch als praktische Übungsgeräte dienen können.

Der Vorverstärker verfügt über eine passive und eine aktive Eingangsbuchse für die Verwendung mit Instrumenten mit hoher und niedriger Ausgangsleistung. Dadurch wird ein klarer Signalpfad zur Eingangssteuerung eingerichtet, sodass Sie Ihren Eingangspegel mithilfe des Ashdown-Marken-VU-Meters fein abstimmen können. Wenn das Signal auf optimalem Pegel ist, können Sie die umfangreichen Funktionen nutzen, die Ihren Klang verbessern, wie z. B. die Shape-Taste, den 5-Band-EQ und den integrierten Kompressor. Die Antriebssteuerung liefert wie immer einen köstlichen, röhrenemulierten Overdrive, während die Subharmonic-Steuerung Ihrem Klang noch mehr Fülle verleiht – beide können über einen FS 2-Fußschalter (separat erhältlich) per Fußschalter gesteuert werden.

Rootmaster EVO II-Köpfe verfügen außerdem über eine praktische Stummschalttaste. Noch cooler ist, dass beim Stummschalten das charakteristische Ashdown Engineering-VU-Meter von Orange zu kühlem Blau wechselt – und so zwischen den Sets die perfekte stimmungsvolle Bühnenbeleuchtung erzeugt.

If you want to use your favourite pedals or multi-effects, you’ll find send and return sockets on the back panel, along with a DI output for direct injection into the PA mixer or recording console and a Line Input (with front panel level control) so you can jam along with a backing track in rehearsal.

A pair of Neutrik Jack/Speakon sockets with a minimum 4 ohm load provides flexible partnering options with a dedicated range of Rootmaster EVO cabinets. The Rootmaster 300 EVO II can be used to power a single 8 ohm cabinet, a pair of 8 ohm cabinets or a single 4 ohm cabinet.
