Mit einem Gewicht von nur 18 kg liefert der Ashdown Rootmaster EVO II 212T satte 500 Watt bei 8 Ohm über seine zwei 12-Zoll-White Line Ashdown-Lautsprecher, die für außergewöhnliche Attacke, Klarheit und Bassleistung konzipiert sind und sich gleichzeitig durch ihre unverwechselbare hochwertige Verarbeitung und eine drastische Gewichtsreduzierung von der Masse abheben.

Klanglich behält das kompakte, geschlossene Design die Basswiedergabe mit einem dynamischeren, druckvolleren mittleren Bereich bei. Der zusätzliche Hochtöner sorgt für zusätzlichen Schwung im oberen Bereich und kann mit dem Dreiwege-Hochtönerschalter je nach Vorliebe des Spielers entweder auf hoch, niedrig oder aus eingestellt werden.

Die Gehäuse des Rootmaster EVO II sind sorgfältig aus leichtem Sperrholz gefertigt, um Gewicht einzusparen, ohne den typischen Ashdown-Sound zu beeinträchtigen. Die gewichtssparende Konstruktion wird mit durchdachtem Design und echten Neutrik Jack/Speakon-Kombibuchsen kombiniert. Schließlich ist das Gehäuse mit Buffalo Tolex mit Metallecken und einem schwarzen Stoffgitter für ein langlebiges Finish versehen, das sich wirklich von der Masse abhebt.
