Times Like These goes to number 1
BBC Radio 1’s Stay Home Live Lounge Allstars claim Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart after a seriously close battle for this week’s top spot.
The rendition of Foo Fighters’ Times Like These, featuring a cast of big names including our good friends in Biffy Clyro, Bastille and the Foo Fighters, lifts from 5 to Number 1 with 66,000 chart sales this week – 78% of which were downloads.
The bass was played by James Johnston from Biffy Clyro using his Saint bass and Ashdown amp for the recording. James is the only bass player on the track and we have to say great work it cuts through and sits great in the mix.
