The team at Andertons recently took on the big questions: "Is there still a place for all-valve bass amps in 2025?" Featuring three UK-built powerhouses: the Hiwatt Custom 200, Orange AD200, and our very own Ashdown CTM-300, the answer was loud and clear.
Andertons praised the CTM for its rich midrange, dynamic response, and sheer physicality. Described as having a tone that "opens up with every note", the CTM stood out for its musicality and versatility, especially with the Mellow switch engaged for vintage warmth or disengaged for pure power.
Best of all? The CTM featured in the video was custom-built just for this session!
