Now in itÂs 16th year, sound:check Xpo is Mexico’s main event for professionals in the music industry, showcasing the latest equipment in pro-audio, DJ, musical instruments and amplification.
For Ashdown, sound:check Xpo provides us with the opportunity to strengthen trade and distribution relations and helps us establish new dealers in that territory. It gives us much pleasure to be supporting our Mexican distributors, Gonher Distribution.
Gonher’s experience dates back to 1956, with the opening of their store in the city of Torreón, Coahuila – dedicated to the retail sale of records, electronics and musical devices.
It was in 80’s that Gonher expanded into the wholesale musical instrument distribution, which today is part a distribution network of 50 companies in the center of the Mexico, with an impressive portfolio of brands, to which it added Ashdown Engineering's product range in 2017.
Long standing Ashdown artist James LoMenzo will be joining us at Sound:Check Expo for some live demonstrations. Over the years, James has recorded and toured with some of the most noteworthy rock icons of our time, including John Fogerty, Dave Mustaine, Zakk Wylde, David Lee Roth, Ozzy Osbourne, Slash and many others.
Sound Check Xpo opens its doors on 22nd April and runs for three jam-packed days. We hope to see you there!
