Ashdown have today appointed Davitt & Hanser, a subsidiary of JAM Industries USA, as sole distributor in the US for their flagship range of amplification. Since 1924 Davitt & Hanser have provided US MI retailers with wholesale music equipment and an extensive logistics network. Today, Davitt & Hanser adds Ashdown Engineering to their existing line-up of global brands including Aerodrums, Cort Guitars, Mahalo Ukuleles, Powerwerks Pro Audio, Kustom Amplification and more.
“The addition of Ashdown Engineering to our portfolio of exclusive brands enables us to focus all of our time and resources on expanding the market for the 10 brands we now represent — Aerodrums, Ashdown Engineering, Cort Guitars, G7th, Jay Turser Guitars, Kustom Amps, Mahalo Ukuleles, Powerwerks Audio Solutions, Valencia Guitars and UFIP Cymbals,” said Jay Ensminger, General Manager of Davitt & Hanser.
Ashdown has represented itself for the past two years in the USA, building great relationships with US dealers.
“Our growth over the past 6 months has required more support than we could give in terms of inventory and shipping across the USA. We had been looking for the right new partner for the US market to cope with our expanding product lines – not forgetting that Ashdown is still very much a small, family run company. The team at Davitt and Hanser fit the bill perfectly and the timing could not be better for both parties”, said Ashdown’s Managing Director, Mark Gooday.
Since their launch 1997, Ashdown have become a firm favourite of bass players around the globe. Known for their cool styling, tour proven reliability and superb tone, Ashdown bass amps can be seen on stages around the world with bands and artists such as Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, System of A Down and countless others.
In addition to their industry-standard ABM range, Ashdown also offers bass amps for all situations and budgets… not just sold out arenas.
Davitt & Hanser will begin facilitating Ashdown dealers in the US effective immediately.
