Internal Tele Sales – Algam Ashdown (Music Distribution)
Location: Heybridge / Maldon, Essex

Algam Ashdown is the UK distribution arm of Algam Group, Europe's largest musical instrument distributor. From our headquarters in Heybridge, Essex, we represent a portfolio of leading brands across the musical instrument and pro-audio sectors, including our own Ashdown Engineering amplifiers alongside some of the world's most respected names in guitars, accessories, audio, and live sound.
We are expanding our internal sales team and are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Tele Sales Executive to join us.
Working Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 8:30 - 17:30
Friday: 8:30 - 16:30
You must be ready to start work at 8:30
The Role:
- Managing inbound sales enquiries and customer requests
- Creating outbound sales opportunities through proactive calling
- Achieving daily sales call targets
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with our dealer network
- Supporting the external sales team with customer service and order management
- Working closely with product and marketing teams to maximise sales opportunities
- Representing the Algam Ashdown portfolio professionally and enthusiastically
- Maintaining accurate customer records and sales activity
What We're Looking For:
- A genuine passion for music, musical instruments, and audio equipment
- Excellent communication skills, both on the phone and via email
- Confident speaking with customers and building relationships
- Organised and proactive with strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and team-focused approach
- Previous sales experience is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of musical instrument industry is advantageous

Operative - Electronics Assembly
Location: Heybridge / Maldon, Essex

We are a UK-based manufacturer of musical equipment looking for reliable and hands-on Production Operatives to join our team.
This is a practical role within a small, focused production environment. You'll be involved in electronics assembly, production support, and maintaining high standards across the workshop.
Working Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 8:30 - 17:30
Friday: 8:30 - 16:30
You must be ready to start work at 8:30.
The Role:
- Speaker cabinet assembly
- PCB population and electronics assembly
- Supporting production and workflow
- Managing parts and stock
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
- Following clear processes and quality standards
What We're Looking For:
- Reliable and punctual
- Good attention to detail
- Practical and hands-on
- Able to follow instructions
- Positive attitude and team-focused
Experience in electronics or production is helpful but not essential - full training will be provided.
IMPORTANT:
This is a structured working environment with clean expectations around timekeeping, quality, and teamwork.
