Alison Prestwood

BASSIST | SONGWRITER | PRODUCER | PODCASTER
Alison Prestwood is one of Nashville's most respected bass players, with a career spanning decades of recording, world tours, and genre-defining performances. Known for her work with Peter Frampton, Alison has enjoyed increased global visibility in recent years through Frampton's farewell tours and his celebrated Rock and Roll Hall of Fame performance.

In recognition of her impact on music, Alison was recently honoured by the Country Music Hall of Fame as a Nashville Cat - a distinction reserved for musicians who have made a significant and lasting contribution to the city's musical legacy.

An Ashdown player for over 25 years, Alison's tone has long been built around Ashdown amplification. She has recorded on countless sessions using her ABM-300, Little Bastard, and CTM-15, and continues to rely on the ABM-300 as her main touring amplifier with Peter Frampton.

Beyond the stage and studio, Alison is also a passionate advocate for musicians through her podcast "Hey, Good for You!", co-hosted with Rachel Loy and Harmoni Kelley (Kenny Chesney). The podcast provides as open, honest forum for artists to share their experiences, challenges, and creative journeys.
