Pete MZ Pritchard
"Pete is one of London's busiest bass players. His career has seen him tour Europe and the U.S.A with some of the worlds great Rock'n'Roll legends. Pete was a founder member of the ""Flying Saucers"", who went on to record several albums for labels such as Sony CBS and EMI, recording at the world famous Abbey Road studio's. During this time, The Flying Saucers toured with Bill Haley and the Comets and Pete provided the bass for Chuck Berry on U.K and European tours. Pete was also co-founder of ""Alligator Records"", Which, in the eighties gave up and coming bands such as The Polecats, The Meteors and Johnny Key their first chance to record. Pete began working with the Jordanaires in 1988. This continued with a UK tour in 1992 which included Scotty Moore and D.J.Fontana. Pete continues to work with Scotty and D.J. to this day, and is a regular visitor to the USA, working with Scotty in his studio and has appeared at the famous fairground site in Tupelo, Mississippi, supporting Jerry Lee Lewis. Pete is a member of the Alvin Lee band and The Avengers, and also works with many of today's established ""roots"" musicians, including: Darrel Higham, Liam Grundy, Paul Ansell, Ronnie McDowell, Gene Vincents original Blue Caps, Linda Gail Lewis, Terry Clemson, James Hunter, Eddie Phillips and more."
