James Dibble
A hugely eclectic and versatile musician, with an impressive musical family heritage, James “Dibbs” Dibble studied flute at Trinity Laban before finding the high frequencies too obnoxious and taking the plunge into the wobbly depths as a bassist.

Dibbs is currently the bassist in the hugely successful West End musical “Operation Mincemeat”, regarded as the best reviewed show in West End history. He has toured the UK with “La Bamba the Musical” and was associate dep on “Heathers the Musical” in the West End, including recording for the Roku Channel stage-capture of the show. He regularly deps on “Choir of Man” in the West End.

Outside of theatre, Dibbs is the bassist and MD for TV and theatre legend Jon Partridge, and is a founding member of the highly-regarded contemporary fusion band Cardboard Wolf. Other artists he has worked with include Chintzy Stetson, Liam Cromby, Emma Lindars and Fergusons.

Dibbs is proud to be affiliated with Ashdown, and looks forward to the future of this partnership.
