British Craftsmanship, Modern Power

The Ashdown UK-RBM-800 (Rootmaster Bass Magnifier) is the next evolution of the celebrated Rootmaster range - now hand-built in the UK and designed to truly magnify the essence of your bass tone. Finished in a distinctive Ice Blue and housed in a lightweight, gig-ready chassis, this 800-watt head delivers the authority, articulation, and tonal richness that working bassists demand, without sacrificing portability.

Core Tone-Shaping Tool

At its core, the UK-RBM-800 features the complete suite of Ashdown's iconic tone-shaping tools. From precision EQ shaping to dynamic response, every control is designed to give bassists intuitive, musical command over their tone across a wide range of styles and playing techniques.

Depth, Dynamics, and Drive

The Sub-Harmonic Generator let you blend in a powerful octave below your fundamental notes, adding weight and dimension to everything from modern low-tuned grooves to classic vintage lines. The onboard Compressor smooths out peaks with a natural, musical feel, while the valve-emulated Overdrive circuit delivers tones ranging from warm harmonic lift to full, textured growl.

Studio and Stage Connectivity

The built-in FX loop allows seamless integration with external pedals and processors, ensuring the amp sits comfortably at the centre of even the most complex signal chains. For direct applications, the UK-RBM-800 includes both a traditional DI output and an analogue Cab Sim DI that recreates the response of a perfectly mic'd Ashdown cabinet - ideal for live engineers and recording environments alike.
