Foo's play Milton Keynes Bowl...

Foo Fighters celebrated their return to the UK at the Milton Keynes Bowl in Milton Keynes on Saturday and Sunday (September 5/6) after cancelling their Glastonbury and Wembley Stadium gigs in June.

Nate's New custom shop cabs and trusty ABM rig sounded epic, loads of tone and definition throughout the night, Nate's pedal board was also alight with the glow of VU meters keeping the low end growling with his signature NM2 pedal along with the Ashdown Drive Plus pedal and a 12 band graphic to add shape and lift in the quiet sections. There is also another pedal in the rack that is used as back up if needed for a bit more gain but seldom used. See the pics and be sure to check out the pedals for your self....

The band marked the occasion by forming a "superdupergroup" with Queen’s Roger Taylor and Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones for a cover of Queen and David Bowie’s ‘Under Pressure’.

The two-and-a-half hour show also saw singer Dave Grohl stand up in his “throne” as it drove down the central ramp, play ‘DOA’ for the first time since 2012 and make a heartfelt apology for having to cancel the June shows.

Having announced that the band aren’t doing encores, Grohl closed the show with ‘Best Of You’, telling the audience “When this happened to me… I always knew we’d come back, I just hoped you would too.”
