We had a great time
At the V festival
We headed down to Hylands park at the weekend to catch up with some old friends and make some new ones... The headliner put a fair few people off attending the event this year and we must admit we had to watch a couple of seconds of his show and yeah well.... You have read the other reviews.... But on other notes there were some great bands at the festival playing and signing their own instruments ; )
We had a great time catching up with the great Matt Round who has played with many people over his career including James Morrison who was playing the main stage on the Saturday at the event. Matt did bring to our attention that he's been playing our amps for around 14 years and has yet to be included on the web site... Sorry Matt will get you up online asap...
Next up for the day was catching up with UK band Bastille and their awesome ABM rig, we talked about amps, pedals and all things backline it was great to catch up with them and have some cool news to share with you prior to the bands arena tour in October. Will is going to be switching over to ABM-EVO-IV for the new rig as unfortunately the heads are moving to an off stage rack.
We also cought up with J from Rick Astley's band and was good to see him on good form. Rick's latest record went to number one in the UK and US.
We also got to catch up with many more over the weekend and most importantly got to spend some quality time with our friends and family at John Henrys who as always put on a good spread and was great to see them and catch up with the world of backline rentals....
All up a good weekend now on to Reading & Leeds.....
