The Ashdown Studio Range

Over the summer we were able to coordinate a fantastic day of filming at London’s number 1 rehearsal studios John Henrys. We wanted to do a video to focus on our Studio range of amps going through the features and giving them a real life setting with a couple of friends we’ve got to know over the years…

So after speaking with James Johnston from Biffy Clyro who was in the middle of recording a new album set for release later this month ahead of some big planned summer shows, we set a date for him to come down to London for a day…

After talking James wanted to have a drummer in for the day to give him something to play with rather than just a bit of bass playing boringly along to a backing track… So we asked a couple of friends if they were available firstly was Zak Starkey of the Who, Zak wasn’t able to play drums on the day but suggested we got in touch with Ian Matthews from Kasabian and also the British Drum Company…

So accidentally we seemed to have put together a super group of sorts with Zak wanting to come down and play guitar… But that’s a video for another day…

The day produced some great content from James and Ian and our Studio line of bass combos we are very proud of what we have put together…
