After almost two years of not being able to travel to the USA due to COVID 19. The world of exhibitions and shows in general has been severely hit, with production companies and exhibition venues around the world having to close their doors to stop the spread of this global pandemic. The thought of being able to do a show is a little daunting especially when looking through the hoops needed to jump through.
Ashdown & Meters had signed up for CES at the start of the year with an optimistic outlook and as the months pushed forward and the uncertainty of being able to travel to the USA to attend a show nearly put a cog in the works. But with the announcement from the US president Joe Biden that international travel to the USA would commence again in November, it was full steam ahead and by gosh, you forget how much goes into organising and international show. Luckily enough being seasoned veterans of the exhibition, we got underway with the plans and are in fact ready, packed and waiting to fly…
Ashdown & Meters will be heading out to set up on the 2nd of January for the show which takes place in Las Vegas. This year (our first in two) Ashdown & Meters will be located within the central hall of the Las Vegas Convention Centre seen as the most important hall of the show. This sees Ashdown & Meters positioned between some of the world leaders of consumer technology including global giants Sony and Samsung.
The opportunity to show products to a global audience is a very exciting one. Ashdown & Meters plan on launching several exciting new products at the show focusing on consumer electronics. All of which have been in development for the past 12-18 months and are some of the most exciting products Ashdown & Meters have launched to date.
More product news and info to follow through the show staring on the 5th of January 2022.
If you are planning on attending the show or simply fancy a trip to Las Vegas to see some of the world’s most innovative tech products check out the CES web site and register for the event.
