Concert for Ukraine

Our good friend and all-round great bass player Jerry Meehan was on hand to provide the low end where needed for ITV’s concert for Ukraine.

 
The concert was held on the 29^th of March and included performers from around the UK who all got together on the same stage in support of the humanitarian crisis currently unfolding in the Ukraine.
 
A fundraising concert for Ukraine featuring Ed Sheeran and the Ukrainian 2016 Eurovision winner has raised £12.2 million for the humanitarian effort in the war-torn nation.
 
At the end of the night, the hosts announced that ticket sales, advertising, sponsorship and donations had led to the grand total, but it was expected to continue rising.
 
We are proud to have been a small part of this amazing event in support of such a worthy cause.
 
Well done to all and as always our thoughts are with our friends in the Ukraine who are suffering this ordeal first hand.
