Biffy Clyro Headline Isle of Wight

Ashdown went down to the Isle of Wight….

The week before the festival Ashdown went down to Cardiff for pre production rehearsals to help finalize the on stage back line. The theme for the show was Gold. A lot of Gold. Ashdown custom shop were asked to get involved in creating some unique one off bits for the show. So armed with a range of cabinets and a surplus of Gold paint we headed down to Cardiff not knowing how things would pan out. Needless to say the Gold cabs were a huge success and helped to tie in the stage design nicely with bands backline. 

So Friday came and we headed down to the Isle of Wight to see the rigs in action. We made it just as the band went on stage, James Johnston’s epic Ashdown rig sounded great and looked incredible, 2 x 810s and 1 x 410 with custom Gold grills and Logos (spot the Scottish flag). 

The set was amazing spanning 5 albums over an hour and a half with some amazing pyrotechnics and fireworks to see the night in. The boys were on great form and seemed to really enjoy the Headline set and once again really rose to the occasion. Mon The Biff!
