Tony Butler
"Anthony Earle Peter ""Tony"" Butler is a rock bassist, best known for his lengthy work with the Scottish rock band Big Country. He has also worked with On the Air, The Pretenders, Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, among others. He is currently working as a teacher of music practice at Petroc College, and also works as a music teacher at Livewire Youth Music Project in Cornwall. In 2007, to celebrate 25 years of Big Country, he reunited with founder members Bruce Watson and Mark Brzezicki to embark on a tour of the UK. He became lead vocalist for the first time, taking over from the deceased Stuart Adamson. The surviving original members toured again in late December 2010 and January 2011 with Mike Peters of the Alarm and Jamie Watson added to the lineup. They will play another set of concerts in April 2011. Tony is using an ABM-900 and 2xABM 410 cabs. "
