The Holy Shits
We headed down to a secret show….
In what is possibly the coolest skate park/venue we have ever been to, located in the arches under Waterloo station at the House of Vans. The show was billed under the pseudonym ‘The Holy Shits’ and was of course the Foo Fighters. With the immanent release of their latest record ‘Sonic Highways’ we all thought some new songs would be played, but no, not one, well they broke into a riff from a new track they had previously teased us all with early this month, it sounded epic…. But no other new song was played, simply a steamy hot set jam packed with hits and oddities not normally played live by the band.Â
Nate was in fine form sporting the fetching BTA-400 head and Classic 810 cab along with his NM2 pedal and sounded great, a real solid backbone of tone.
Nate said to the NME on coming back to the UK in the near future "We're planning on doing a pretty unique and cool idea for our 20th anniversary. It's something that'll be fucking cool – plus all of the usual things like festivals."
The set went like this:

RopeÂ
