Fifth Alter Bridge Album imminent

Alter Bridge’s fifth album is well under-way.

The American rock powerhouse consisting of Myles Kennedy, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall and Scott Phillips will follow-on from their 2013 album, ‘Fortress’. The new album recording started in January this year and is being produced by Michael ‘Elvis’ Basket.

In the short space In-between recording and the album launch, guitarist Mark Tremonti will be busy this summer with his solo show and a personal album release in April, while Alter Bridge front man Myles Kennedy will be kept busy with Guns N Roses guitarist, Slash.

So what about Ashdown? Well, Alter Bridge’s Brian Marshall (also known for being the bassist and founding member of Creed) has been using Ashdown since 2009 and has continued on this path for the new album. When playing live, Brian uses a deafening wall Ashdown ABM 900 EVO III Heads and Custom 810 & 215 cabinets.

The band have just taken to road for an extensive world tour starting off by joining Disturbed and Breaking Benjamin on tour this summer in the US and Canada.
