If you're lucky enough to have a ticket for this year's Reading or Leeds festivals, you're in for a treat! Ashdown bands on the bill include Biffy Clyro, Serj Tankian, Editors, We Are Scientists, Dirty Pretty Things, The Automatic, British Sea Power, The Ting Tings, Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong, Pendulum and more across six stages. We also have a rig on every other stage (NME, Lock Up, BBC Introducing, etc.) as part of the standard backline spec.

Ashdown took up its usual place backstage at this year's V Festival where we met up with old friends and shot some interviews with Ashdown artists including Alex from Lenny Kravitz, Greg from Scouting For Girls, Nick Fyffe and the guys from Noah and the Whale – look out for them on this website soon. UNKLE bass player James Griffith is using an Ashdown ABM 500 EVO III / 810 rig with the band that has been central to the trip hop scene since its inception in 1994. Working with artists including Thom Yorke and The Beastie Boys, UNKLE and their MoWax record label are an influential creative force so make sure you check them out.

British band Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong has taken delivery of a Classic Klystron 1000 head and 2 x 410 cabinets, and bass player Panda is loving his new Ashdown rig. The band has big plans for 08/09 so be sure to check them out at www.myspace.com/joeleanandthejingjangjong
