NEW FOR 2024: ASHDOWN ROOTMASTER EVO III

We are proud to introduce the Ashdown Rootmaster EVO III range of bass amplification. Designed for bass players where power, features and weight are important.

Our Ashdown Rootmaster series since its conception has been about providing solid Ashdown tone, power, and reliability without the weight. Engineered to provide the hard-working bass player with everything they could need, from one of the most comprehensive EQ’s in the business to our tried and tested Ashdown Sub Harmonic Generator as well as a simple and effective Compression control and variable Valve Emulated drive. The Rootmaster really is the Swiss army knives of bass amps.
The NEW RM-EVO III heads now come with the option to rackmount the units with the provided rack kit, as a common request from the bass playing community. Available in 500 watts or a hearty 800 watts of tour proven power.

Responsibly designed and engineered to last, the Ashdown Rootmaster series is not just another bass amp it is a tool that should last a lifetime if the correct care is taken. As a manufacturer we have a responsibility to ensure our products do not end up in landfill sites around the world and as such we can ensure our products are repairable down to a component level for a lifetime of over 15 years. This simple philosophy enables us to offer our customers an unrivalled 5-year warranty on all Ashdown products when registered by the original purchaser.
Today the trend of silent stages and in ear monitoring is something we have to consider as an amplifier manufacturer, we still want to make bass amps! As with all our designs in terms of R&D we are very much customer driven in terms of development and having listened to many of you, we have designed our NEW Analogue Cab Sim Di output featured on the NEW Rootmaster EVO III.

Giving bass players even more flexibility over their on stage and front of house monitoring needs. Providing a simple yet effective approach to achieving a great monitor mix.

A balanced D.I. Is provided on the rear panel XLR socket. This provides a post E.Q. Post effects signal. This can be selected using the Balanced default (OUT) setting on the front of the amp.
